IWSG: Fresh Start/Heavy Load

This post is part of the Insecure Writer's Support Group

It's the beginning of the year, in fact, today is my first writing day of the year. Today marks the beginning of my first push toward getting ALL THE THINGS done.

January's push has left me with goals for finishing 7 projects (start strong, right?). That's finishing one novel's first draft, retconning another novel's 7th? draft,  finishing 2 novellas and finishing 3 short stories.

Can I get all that done? In theory, yes. In practice... we'll see.

I have a color-coded spreadsheet with defined goals and a severe want to get it done, so.... hopefully my pre planning helps everything else run smoothly. Mostly this is an effort to get ahead (since I just found out I'll be making a trip north for a wedding this summer, and I know that I'll run across more instances and events that mean my word count is going to dip.)

And of course this little fur-ball will be putting demands on my time - and she'll get everything she wants because what are little dogs for other than to spoil senselessly?

  1. I hope you can meet all of your goals, AB!

  2. First of all, your dog is gorgeous. And second, 7 projects, wow!! Good luck in 2015 :)

  3. Of course! You have to spoil your dog and give her everything.
Ambitious - but you can do it!

  4. Good luck with all your goals! And yes, spoil him! :)

  5. Seven projects! Wow, you amaze me. But I'm sure you can do it.
